Winner, winner, Lorenzo eats Belgians for dinner

The Nekkerhal of Mechelen was fully dedicated to the dressage riders this afternoon. But this evening, the jumping riders are ready to show what they got in two more classes. The Grand Prix will be ridden later this evening, but a 1m45 class against the clock has just ended. ________________________________________________________________________________________ QUICK RESULTS Lorenzo De Luca - Cheindira Dominique Hendrickx - Bacardi Les Hauts Gudrun Patteet - Sea Coast Exellentie _________________________________________________________________________________________ The great Italian rider Lorenzo de Luca once again showed his great shape. Yesterday evening he already won the 1m50 class, today I won again. This time he saddled Cheindira (f. Chagall van de Burggrave). He went fast as lightening and finished in 58,19 seconds. With this time he beat 4 Belgian riders who completed the top five. The second place was for Dominique Hendrickx. He rode a clear round with Bacardi Les Haus (f. Rexar du Houssoit). The 11-year old stallion left the wood untouched and finished in 59,04 seconds. Fast, but not fast enough to beat de Luca. Gudrun Patteet ended on third place. With the 9-year old Sea Coast Exellentie (f. Berlin) under the saddle, she jumped a clear round in 59,88 seconds. Jérome  Jérôme Guery and Kel'Star du Vingt Ponts (f. Kannan) ended on fourth place. Gilles Thomas and Konak (f. Nabab de Reve) ended fifth. Click here for the results
