It was a weekend with beautiful sport during the Mercedes Benz CSI of Zurich. Today in the World Cup Mercedes Benz Classic it was Spanish rider Eduardo Alvarez Aznar who rode to the victory with his Rokfeller de Pleville Bois Mar (by L'Arc de Triomphe). The pair jumped a nice clear round in the jump-off leaving the competition in the dust with a time of 32.20 seconds. For Austria it was Max Kühner who came closest to this time with his Cornet Obolensky son Cornet Kalua with whom he ended up on second place in 38.03 seconds. Colombian rider Enrique Lopez Lizarazo completed this top three with his Dutch bred mare Admara (by Padinus) in a time of 38.43 seconds. For England it was William Whitaker who took home the fourth place with his Utamaro D Ecaussines (by Diamant de Semilly). Utamaro used to be ridden by British rider Joe Clee, but it seems that also William can find the best results with the stallion. Together the pair jumped to a time of 38.82 seconds. Following in fifth place was Germany's Marco Kutscher and his Clenur (by Carinu) who finished in 43.44 seconds. Out of the 38 starts only nine riders made it to the jump-off. Find all results here
