Wout Jan van der Schans to victory in Grand Prix qualifier CSI Ommen

In the Netherlands the international competition this weekend takes place at the CSI Ommen. Today the fourstar competition continued with a Big Tour Grand Prix qualifier that was also part of the Longines Rankings. In tonights 1m50 course it was Dutchie Wout-Jan van der Schans who left it all on the field aboard his Capetown (Oklund) in this eleven combination strong jump-off. With 40.30 seconds on the clock he stayed just under the time of Belgium's Gilles Dunon who aboard his Fou de Toi vd Keihoeve (by Toulon) finished with 40.32 seconds in second place. In third it was Annelies Vorsselmans and her Wilandro 3 (by Unistar) with whom she completed her round in 40. 67 seconds. Then in fourth place it was Swedish rider Stephanie Holmén aboard Carma (by Cardento), followed by a fifth place for Japanese rider Hikari Yoshizawa aboard Callas (by Casall).   Find all results here
