Zazou Hoffmann conquers the FEI World Cup of Del Mar

While Europe is preparing for their Wester European League World Cup on Sunday, the World Cup of Del Mar concluded Saturday night with an exciting Jump-Off between four combinations. Eventually three produced a clear round, giving Zazou Hoffman the final win aboard her 14-year-old Cardento-son, Samson II. The pair crossed the timer in 41.68 seconds, resulting in the only clear timer in under 42 seconds. Eduardo Menezes followed as runner-up with almost one second difference. Menezes guided his Quintender 2-son, H5 Quintol through the Jump-Off in 42.64 seconds. The stage was completed by New York's, Georgina Bloomberg. Far away from home Bloomberg scored a third place in the saddle of her 10-year-old Chameur (Cayetano L). The fastest time was set by local Nicole Shaninian-Simpson with her 10-year-old Akuna Mattata (Quinar). With one rail down the pair settled for fourth while one time penalty in the first round delivered Francie Nilforushan the fifth spot together with Clarinius (Clearway). Results
