The second qualifier for the World Championship for seven year old horses was won by Gilles Thomas and Lavanoche T&L Z.
Aboard the daughter of Lavallino ter Klomp, Thomas (BEL) set the fastest time out of the nearly 200 combinations in the second phase of the 1.40m course. Michael Duffy (IRL) was 40 hundredths of a second short for victory with Budweiser (v. Berlin) and came in second with the KWPN stallion. Hendrik-Jan Schuttert (NED) concluded the top three with High Energie VK Z, a mare by Heineken.
Fourth place also went to a Belgian combination and was for Thibeau Spits and Cinnamon Pommex Z (v. Windows vh Costerveld). The top five was closed by Molly Hughes Bravo (POR) in the saddle of HHS Orchidee (v. Le Roi).
