50 combinations came to the start of the CSI3* 1.50m Longines Ranking class in St-Tropez. Only ten of them managed to stay clear in the first round after which Mark Mcauley sped to victory in the jump-off with Grs Lady Amaro (v. Amaretto D Arco).
Four riders steered to a faultless jump-off with their companions. Mcauley (IRL) set the fastest time in the saddle of the ten year old mare. With just under a second difference, Eduardo Pereira De Menezes (BRA) followed in second place aboard of H5 Origi Horta (v. Kasanova de La Pomme). Namesake and other Belgian gelding Origi van de Zeshoek had only nine hundredths of a second more on the clock to finish third under Enrique Gonzalez (MEX). $
The French riders were referred to the places outside the stage as Jeanne Sadran settled for four with Unforgettable Damvil. The fifteen years old stallion was the last to not touch a pole in the jump-off. For Harold Boisset and T'Obetty du Domaine (v. Kashmir van Schuttershof) there was fifth place.
