Only eleven participants ventured into the final 4* 1.50m main class of the day in Saint Tropez. The two-phase special course was technically not the least, causing at least one mistake along the way for the majority of the participants. Only for Commandant Geoff Curran the class seemed a piece of cake. The Irishman jumped double clear with the 10-year-old Tempo Manor (Sligo Candy Boy) in a fast time of 32.21 seconds.
Just over two and a half seconds after Commandant Geoff Curran, Mathilda Karlsson also managed to complete a clear round with Apollonia 23 (Bogegardens Apollo), which resulted in a silver medal. The bronze went to the Italian Andrea Benatti and the 11-year-old bay mare Cantalina (Canturano).
Penelope Leprevost was in the saddle of Texas (Tornesch 1042) last to keep a clean sheet, finishing fourth. With four penalty points, but a very strong time of 31.20 seconds, Denis Lynch took fifth place on the back of Cornets Iberio (Cornet Obolensky).
