Marlon Modolo Zanotelli wins 2* 1.40m class Oslo Horse Show

Brazilian Marlon Modolo Zanotelli took the gold in the last international class of the day in Oslo. Together with the 9 year old Selle Français gelding Doligo de St Leger (Hooligan de Rosyl), Modolo Zanotelli won the 2* 1.40m class by nearly three seconds.

Over seventy combinations were at the start of this last international class of the day at the Kingsland Oslo Horse Show. At stake for those who didn't already qualify, a second chance at a ticket for the 2* Grand Prix tomorrow evening.

Marlon Modolo Zanotelli and Doligo de St Leger set a wonderful performance in a time of 52.90 seconds, which was without any doubt good for the gold medal. The rest of the podium consisted of two Norwegian riders, who gave the home crowd something to cheer for. Ida Torresdal took silver on the back of Justin Beaber Em (Bogegaarden's Graf's Stakkato), followed by Ingrid Sandhei Bjorklund and Staedtebahn's Cornwell (Cornet Obolensky).

Finnish Noora Pentti took fourth place with Con Caya (Con Chello), ahead of another home rider, Mathilde Kristine Kalland on the back of Estolga (Toulon).
