During the main class of the day in the Morocco Royal Tour, no fewer than thirty combinations remained completely clear. With so many clean-sheets, everything came down to time. The victory went to the Brazilian Francisco José Mesquita Musa, who in the saddle of Catch Me Marathon (Contagio) set the fastest time.
Francisco José Mesquita Musa jumped the fastest clear round in the 4* 1.45m high class with Catch Me Marathon. The duo clocked in at 66.36 seconds, and thus effortlessly took the win. The Dutchman Leon Thijssen needed just a little longer with For President (Numero Uno) and finished second in 68.90 seconds. The last podium place went to El Ghali Boukaa who sent the 12-year-old Diamant de Semilly daughter, A Kyss, around in 69.41 seconds in front of the home crowd.
Just off the podium, Bernardo Cardonso De Resende Alves placed fourth in the saddle of Mosito van het Hellehof (Elvis Ter Putte). Fifth place went to Mariano Martinez Bastida and Quark de Preuilly Z (Quaprice Boimargot Quincy).
