The main class of Dublin was won by Richard Howley, who steered Consulent de Prelet Z (v. Consulent Z) to victory in the 1.60m Cashel Palace Hotel Stakes.
The Irish rider was one of the eight finalists in the jump-off and remained faultless with the nine-year-old gelding. Fellow countryman Harry Allen followed in the second position with over two seconds more aboard Calculatus (by Cachassini). Another one and a half seconds later, Ioli Mytilineou (GRE) rode Levis de Muze (by Elvis ter Putte), a twelve-year-old BWP gelding, across the finish line to claim the third place.
Denis Lynch (IRL) had Vistogrand (v. Fantaland) saddled for the jump-off and had a fast round but the 10yo touched a pole, referring them to fourth place. The top five was closed off by the winners of yesterday, Shane Sweetnam (IRL) and Out of The Blue SCF (v. Verdi TN).
