It's going to be anyone's game at the World Equestrian Games in Tryon next month. With top riders all over the world cancelling for the event, it is now Nicola Wilson who also declares she won't compete during the WEG.
Eventing rider Nicola Wilson decided not to compete her Bulana (by Tygo) after the horse was slightly injured. The British Equestrian Federation stated that the horse won't be fit to compete during the World Equestrian Games.
This leaves the British team with a bit of a gap losing one of their top riders so close to the event. Wilson and Bulana competed with great succes during last years European Championships finishing with two bronze individual medals and one golden team medal. The team for Great Britain is yet to be completed with 15 combinations still remaining at the long list. Tryon's deadline is set at september 3th.
