Longines EEF Series rewards the best young riders with an extra bit of pocket money

The Longines EEF Series Annual Bonuses for 2022 have been rewarded to the best U25 riders in the Regional Qualifiers and the best individual performances in the Final. 


According to the Longines EEF Series rules, each team has the opportunity to field a U25 rider in each Series Regional Qualifier. EEF and Longines have a prize fund of €40,000 to reward the best of these combinations based on the results of these Regional Qualifiers. During the regional qualifiers, 11 combinations of U25 riders and horses achieved a double zero, while another 15 combinations achieved a 0/4 result. These are fantastic results from our young riders and they support the philosophy and ethos of the Longines EEF Series to help develop the next generation and provide opportunities and experiences during team competitions. The 11 double clear combinations came from 7 different countries, and received an equal share of the prize money, €3636.36 each, with Gilles Thomas being paid double for his repeated clean sheet performances in Lisbon and Madrid. The successful riders were:
