The 27-year-old Tryba announced the news herself on social media, expressing her enthusiasm about welcoming the horse and looking ahead to the coming season, in which Chageorge is set to play a key role in her sporting plans toward 2026.

Chageorge built an impressive record in recent years under the saddle of Christian Kukuk. In 2025, the pair claimed victory in the CSI4* 1.60m Grand Prix of Hohen Wieschendorf, secured team gold at the CSIO3* Longines EEF Nations Cup in Mannheim, and finished third in the prestigious RWE Prize of North Rhine-Westphalia at CHIO Aachen. The combination also stood out in 2024 with a win in the CSI5* 1.55m Prix des Communes Genevoises in Geneva.

The move follows the previously announced decision by Christian Kukuk to end his collaboration with Beerbaum Stables at the end of 2025. After thirteen years with the team, the German rider has chosen to continue his career independently.

For Lara Tryba, the arrival of Chageorge represents a further strengthening of her competitive string. The French rider enjoyed a successful 2025, including competing as a member of the Global Champions League team Scandinavian Vikings. She is based at Ashford Farm in Belgium, where she trains under the guidance of Marlon Zanotelli.
