A total of ten combinations qualified for the Jump-Off in the 1.45m CSI2* Grand Prix of Coapexpan, Mexico. Eventually it was Germany's Daniel Deusser, leaving Belgium's Zoe Conter from the win. Deusser speeded to victory aboard his 13-year-old SF-stallion Bingo Ste Hermelle (Number One d'Iso). The pair was just not two seconds faster as fellow-stable rider, Zoe Conter.

Belgium's female showjumper followed on stage aboard Dawa de Greenbay Z (Diarado). The pair referred Brazil's  Eduardo Periera de Menezes to the third spot with H5 Knockando (Comme Il Faut).

Four combinations managed to produce a double clear. Finishing fourth it was Carlos Milthaler and Maricucha LS (Carusso), leaveing  Ana Sofia Legorreta Hernandez and Yoga Santa Rosa (El Dorado van de Zeshoek) to the fifth spot
