First major win for Eduardo Alvarez Aznar and d'Orient Batilly!

Spain's Eduardo Alvarez Aznar has jumped to victory in today's 1.50m CSI4* at the Polo Club in St Tropez. For Aznar it is his first major 4* victory with the 11-year-old son by Numero Uno (breeder: Jean-Claude Viollet).

On stage the pair was followed by Marlon Modolo Zanotelli and the 13-year-old BWP-stallion, Grand Slam VDL (Cardento). Zanotelli and the stallion, bred by the Kenis family were followed by Marie Pellegrin aboard SF-sire, Fini l'Amour (L'Arc de Triomphe).

Only these three combinations managed to produce a double clear. Joseph Stockdale jumped into a fourth place with Ebanking (Etoulon). In front of the home crowd, Harold Boisset completed the top five with Belgian Warmblood-mare, Malia du By (Eros Platiere).
