Alvarez Moya trained Action-Breaker from a young age, with the pair growing into a mainstay at the very highest level of the sport. "Time to say goodbye to Action-Breaker, a very special horse that I was privileged to train from a three-year-old all the way to a third place in the Aachen GP," Alvarez Moya wrote. "Health problems brought an early end to our sporting career, but he gave us very special moments. He enjoyed a wonderful retirement at Casas Novas until his very last day. Thank you & rest in peace, my friend."

Top Sport at the Highest Level

With Alvarez Moya in the saddle, Action-Breaker enjoyed an impressive athletic career. The duo competed at the 2010 and 2014 World Equestrian Games and lined up at the 2011 World Cup Final. In addition, they jumped to numerous placings in international Grand Prix events worldwide, with the ultimate highlight being their third-place finish in the prestigious Rolex Grand Prix of Aachen in 2010.

A Lasting Mark on Breeding

In 2015, the stallion officially retired, launching a successful second career in breeding. His genetics and quality live on in the international show jumping arena through several top offspring currently competing at the highest level, including:
