German showjumper Janne Friederike Meyer-Zimmermann competed again last weekend with her Nations Cup horse, Messi van 't Ruytershof (Plot Blue x Inathina van 't Ruytershof).
Together with the gelding, bred by Bert van den Branden, the rider took part in the 1.20m and 1.30m classes last weekend. "Nothing special, but after a break from competition of over a year, the feeling is really good," said the German rider.
The pair's last five-star appearance dates back to June 2025 at the CHIO Rotterdam. In May of last year, the duo placed ninth in the CSI5* 1.60m LGCT of Cannes and landed on the CSI5* Grand Prix podium in Doha.
