Cheered up by the home crowd, France's François Xavier Boudant secured a home-win in Bordeaux. Aboard his 9-year-old SF-mare, Gerbera du Marais (Diamant de Semilly), Boudant speeded to the win in the 1.50m CSI5* in Bordeaux.
Boudant and the 9-year-old mare, owned by Ervard De Ponnat and Ivan Palmer, bred by Remi, Emilie and Bernadette Mesnil, were just no second faster as Dutch showjumper Willem Greve.
Greve secured a third place in yesterday's 1.60m Worldcup and continues his form aboard his newly acquired Impian D (VDL Bubalu). Earlier this week was announced Greve (temporarily) takes over the reins of the KWPN-sire, bred by H.L. Van Doorn, as former rider, Henk Frederiks is injured.
Roger-Yves Bost completed the stage with his 9-year-old SF-gelding, Giorgio de la Batia (Ideal de la Loge). The pair was followed by Eduardo Alvarez Aznar and Qevita vd Bisschop (Vigo d'Arsouilles).
Marie Demonte completed the top five with her 10-year-old SF-gelding, Forban de Beliard (Upsilon).
