German and Austrian Federations React Sharply to the FEI Rule Change! While IJRC asks to read the change within its context!

FN President Martin Richenhagen called the decision “a clear mistake,” while Elisabeth Max-Theurer, president of the Austrian Equestrian Federation (OEPS), also condemned the change: “We are losing the core of our sport,” she said. At the same time, the International Jumping Riders Club (IJRC) issued a statement saying there has been “too much misinterpretation of the amendment.” The core message, they emphasize, remains clear: blood has no place in our sport.
