The CSI4* Grand Prix of Hohen Wieschendorf provided a fitting conclusion to the DKB Pferdewoche, with fifty combinations lining up for the 1.60m feature class. Only five riders managed to produce a double clear performance and qualify for the jump-off, where Philipp Weishaupt ultimately delivered a home victory for Germany.
Victory went to Philipp Weishaupt aboard Lady Concern du Rezidal (Emerald). The German rider was one of only two combinations to remain faultless throughout both rounds and stopped the clock in 43.16 seconds in the jump-off to secure the top prize.
Second place went to Czech rider Ales Opatrny with Vivo de Muze PS (Vivant). The pair also produced a double clear performance but fell just short of victory with a jump-off time of 43.33 seconds.
Sweden's Douglas Lindelöw completed the podium aboard Asterix de Couleur (Aganix du Seigneur). After qualifying fault-free for the jump-off, four penalties in the second round left the combination in third place with a time of 47.10 seconds.
The fourth position was claimed by Stefan Engbers and Baju NRW (Balou du Rouet). The German combination entered the jump-off on a clean score but accumulated eight penalties in 44.73 seconds. Fellow German Christin Wascher rounded out the top five with Quincy 200 (Quintero), also finishing the jump-off on eight penalties in 45.84 seconds.
