The latest Longines World Ranking has been published. While Kent Farrington maintains his position at the top of the standings, the new ranking brings several notable changes among the world's elite riders. Richard Vogel moves up to second place, while Scott Brash drops one position. Gilles Thomas, meanwhile, remains firmly established in the world's top five.
With 3,506 points, Farrington continues to lead the rankings. Behind the American, Vogel climbs from third to second place, overtaking Brash, who slips to third. Ben Maher holds on to fourth place, while Gilles Thomas once again rounds out the top five. As a result, the composition of the top five remains largely unchanged, apart from the switch between Vogel and Brash.
Just outside the top ten, Laura Kraut records a notable rise. The American moves from 11th to 9th place, returning to the world's top ten. Daniel Bluman also makes significant progress, climbing from 14th to 12th position.
Within the top twenty, Simon Delestre is among the biggest movers. The Frenchman gains four places, advancing from 19th to 15th. Sophie Hinners continues her impressive rise as well, moving up from 25th to 21st place.
