The evening program in St Tropez concluded with the 1.50m CSIO5*. In this main class of the day, victory was decided after a jump-off featuring 16 combinations. Ultimately, Victor Bettendorf jumped to victory.
Victor Bettendorf and the 12-year-old SF mare, Encore Toi du Linon (Kannan), jumped to the win in 38.00 seconds. The pair shaved four-hundredths of a second off the time of Marlon Modolo Zanotelli. The Brazilian rider won the main class on Friday. On Saturday, Zanotelli placed second with the 9-year-old mare, High Hopes du Fleuve.
Sanne Thijssen finished in third place. The Dutch rider completed the top three in the saddle of Farah Z (For Pleasure), bred by Freek Hoogeboom. Former Belgian champion Jos Verlooy missed out on the podium, placing fourth with Parise van den Dael (I Am Moerhoeve's Star). The pair pushed Nicolas Layec with Hatlantika (Best of Iscla) into fifth place.
