The WBFSH and the FEI (International Equestrian Federation) previously announced that both the selection process and the concept for the WBFSH World Breeding Jumping Championships for Young Horses are undergoing changes. Now, the rules are being tightened even further by adjusting the maximum fence heights for five- and six-year-old horses. Judy Ann Melchior reacts that while this is a positive development, the competitive aspect of the championship must not be forgotten.
