The French show jumper, Grégory Cottard, has a new talent in his stable. The nine-year-old BWP mare, Poppemieke JW van de Moerhoeve (breeder: De Moerhoeve BV and Jan Wuytack), is moving from Philippaerts We Live Horses' stables to France.

Since the spring of 2023, the mare has been competing at the highest level with Olivier Philippaerts. The daughter of Vigo d'Arsouilles was trained internationally by Frederik Wuytack. The duo competed at the FEI World Championship for six- and seven-year-olds in Lanaken.

Together with Olivier Philippaerts, Poppemieke competed up to the 1.50m level. This past summer, the duo achieved notable results at the CSI4* Valkenswaard. They also made an impression during the Global Champions League in Shanghai.

Grégory Cottard shared the news himself, stating, "Thank you to Wy and Marie-Caroline Besins for your trust. Time to get to know each other better..."
