Bart Bles claims gold in the World Cup of Abu Dhabi

In Abu Dhabi, the riders fought for first place in the World Cup qualifier which took place over a height of 1.50m/1.60m. Bart Bles managed to secure another victory with a win for The Netherlands. He managed to leave all competition behind with almost four seconds lead. After winning the 1.45m class earlier on the day in Abu Dhabi he now finishes his weekend with also gold in this World Cup. 

Bles could count on his BWP gelding Kriskras DV (by Cooper vd Heffinck) to set the winning time of 41.23 seconds. That was about 3.33 seconds faster than Abdullah Mohd Al Marri with Sama Dubai (by Stakkato) who recorded a time of 44.56 seconds. Jörg Naeve and the 13-year-old gelding Benur du Romet (by Balou du Rouet), completed the top three in 45.94 seconds.  

Syrian Amre Hamcho (Vagabon des Forets) finished fourth. Shane Breen (Ipswich) followed in fifth place.
