Eight riders earned more then a million in showjumping classes

Yesterday we had a brief look highest earning horses in the showjupming world of the year 2016. But these horses were accompanied by some amazing riders and of course they also did earn some cash. Who were the top earning riders on competitions last year? British rider Scott Brash had the pleasure to be the highest-earning jumper in 2015. With his victories in the Rolex Grand Slam series, he again clamis the title for 2016. Brash collected a total of 1,765,715 euros.McLain Ward was in the saddle of HH Azur, one of the top earning horses last year. This took him a long way into claiming second place in the ranking. McLain and his sponsors had a nice return of 1,540,655 euros in total. It must be said it was a good year for Equestrian sports at a total of eight riders managed to gather over 1 million in profit from just competitions. Zangersheide rider Christian Ahlmann may also look back with satisfaction. The German rider cashed out no less than 1,462,765 euros in winnings.Stephex Stables rider, Daniel Deusser follows in fourth place in the ranking with 1,390,104 euros. The German sylist Marcus Ehning closes the top five with 1,215,098 euros. Other riders to break the 1 million barrier were Kent Farrington (€ 1.208.333), Simon Delestre (€ 1.184.906) and Kevin Staut (€ 1.093.280)
