The Dutch bred KWPN stallion Fellini moved to Denmark three months ago. The Ampère son is still owned by Nico Witte and Team Collins-Strijk, but will from now on spend his days in the stables of Andreas Helgstrand. It's dressage rider Simone Pierce who will most likely take place in the saddle. Fellini became the top sold horse during the KWPN Stallion Show in 2013 in The Netherlands. With 83.5 points from the KWPN he was approved and sold for 380.000 euros. In that same year it was Dutch rider Leida Collins who competed with the stallion in the Pavo Cup. Then in october 2015 it was Joyce Lenearts who took place in the saddle and competed with him. Fellini is not the first stallion to cross paths with owners Witte and Helgstrand. They also share the ownership of both KWPN stallions Franklin and Grand Galaxy Win. With little interest for stud in the Netherlands, the owners decided the stallion would be better of competing in Denmark were he can show off in the spotlights. According to Helgstrand it's a beautiful stallion who shows a lot of action in his legs. He will be a fine edition for the Danish stud. During the KWPN Stallion Show last month Helgstrand bought one of Fellini's sons for 150.000 euros. Jetlag will also be ridden by Simone Pearce.
