Honeymore WV sold for €170.000,- at Sale of the Rising Stars

Tonight the annual Sale of the Rising Stars was held at Indoor Drachten. This quality auction offers a young sporthorses that are ready to start their jumping career. With 14 talented horses from known bloodlines, the auction attracted national and international attention. In the weeks before the auction all horses were available for viewing at Brinkstables in Nijkerkerveen. And also on the day of the auction all horses were presented under the saddle in the main ring of Indoor Drachten. Showing prospective buyers their talent. Ahead of the auction the mare Lykke Li – Termo Z (Levisto Z x Cornet Obolensky) attracted a lot of attention on youtube. With over 9000 views this horse seemed to be most popular. The beautiful mare has the stunning looks from her father. And also inherits from the top progenitors Cornet Obolensky and Guidam. At the auction night bidders maintained their interest resulting in a selling price of € 100.000,- KWPN approved stallion Gringo (Catoki x Tolan R) was also part of the auction. For many buyers this was a unique chance to acquire an approved stallion. This very complete showjumper was appreciated by several buyers. Resulting in a short bidding war and a total selling price of € 130.000,- Hello Kitty de Levee (Emerald van ’t Ruytershof x Oramé) was also a favorite and attracted generous attention in the weeks before the auction. This daughter to Olympic showjumper Emerald van ‘t Ruytershof is a jumper with impressive reflexes and good jumping genes. At the auction night the previously garnered attention was continued and in the end she was sold for € 75.000,- Queen of the night was the stunning mare Honeymore WV (Bamako de Muze x Corland). This talented mare glided through the showring as bidders engaged in a war to gain ownership. In the end this young talent was sold to a mystery buyer at the price of € 170.000,- The total amount of today’s auction is € 1.062.000,- with an average selling price of € 75.000,- per horse.
