Philippe Rozier takes over the reins of Quartz Rouge

The thirteen year old stallion Quartz Rouge ends up under the saddle of Philippe Rozier. The Ultimo van der Woude son used to be ridden by Jerome Humel. Humel was very succesful with the stallion. In 2015 they competed in Aachen during the European Championships. Together they competed for the French team with a win in the Nations Cup five star shows in Lummen and in Sopot (Poland). They also were succesful in the Nations Cup of Rotterdam (the Netherlands) and Spruce Meadows (Calgary) taking home a second place. In 2015 they also rode to a third place during the Grand Prix of Dinard. Previous owner Deborah Smaga says: "It's never an easy decision to sell youre horse. We have been working for over fifteen years with Jerome Humel and he and Quartz have a real connection. We are so very proud of all that they achieved. He has been riding the horse since the horse was only four years old. Quartz will stay close to our region and now I have my hands free for the ponyclub and the events we are planning to hold here. Ofcourse Philippe Rozier is always welcome with questions". Photo - Philippe Rozier and Rahotep
