Due to the excessive amount of rain that the Central Coast has received, the Santa Barbara Horse Show Series has been cancelled. West Palms Events and the Santa Barbara Polo & Racquet Club are disappointed to have to make this call, but believe it is in the best interest for the riders and the horses. We would like to sincerely thank our loyal clients, trainers, sponsors and vendors who planned to attend the series and support it the first year.
The Paso Robles Horse Park, however, is excited and ready to host two weeks this March, as long as Mother Nature cooperates over the next few weeks. We ask everyone to please halt any "Rain Dances" that they had planned throughout February and March.
"It is an unfortunate situation, but it is what is best for our competitors and their horses," said Adrienne Karazissis of West Palms Events. "We are looking forward to Paso Robles and are hoping that the rain subsides over the next couple of weeks to allow for a great show."
Don't forget to put the Spring dates on your calendar! Our 2017 Spring Central California Horse Show Series is looking forward to hosting the World Champion Hunter Rider (WCHR) and the Young Jumper Championship, both at the Central California Classic, May 31-June 4!
Other special classes and events include the USHJA National and InternationalHunter Derbies, the GGT-Footing Grand Prix Series, multiple wine tastings, VIP Dinners, exhibitor and trainer parties and a Season Finale Party at CaliPaso Winery! These are events you will not want to miss at the Paso Robles Horse Park!
The beautiful Paso Robles Horse Park is set on 67 acres and features a large grass field, the Fairway Field Grand Hunter and the Fairway Field Grand Prix, and four arenas with top notch GGT-Footing. The venue has permanent horse stalls, a hay barn, an office, restrooms, and temporary RV camping with hookups for competitors.
