Steve Guardat at the FEI General Assembly: "I hope we can still believe that the federations are defending our interests"

Currently, the FEI General Assembly is in full swing. Steve Guerdat was also present. "I believe that in fact I should not be here, because you, the federations, should represent us, the riders." Thus began the Swiss jumper's strong debate.

"We should be grateful to the past generations how they developed our sport further. In the same way, I want to be able to look into my daughter's eyes in the future and tell her with full conviction that I helped build modern equestrian sport." continues Guerdat.

In his plea, the rider wants us to put egos and self-preservation aside for a moment and to do so with an eye on the upcoming 2024 Olympics. "I hope that together we can achieve what we think is impossible. We have to go back to the old format with a drop score. This is for the sake of the horses."
