Nearly 100 seven year old horses were put to the test for a final time at Lanaken during the Consolation Class of the World Championship for 7yo. The 1.40m class was won by Nicole Lockhead Anderson (GBR) aboard of Conthargo PS (v. Conthargos).
With over a second difference, the British rider steered the grey gelding of Conthargos to victory at Lanaken. The duo left Julien Gonin (FRA) behind, who was in the saddle of Crack Bel Z, a Zangersheide stallion by Con Air. Third place stayed in Belgium and was rewarded to Kyle Cuypers (BEL) and the BWP gelding Quadro van 't Buxushof, a son of Elvis ter Putte.
Fourth place was taken by Carlos Bosch Cebrian (ESP) and Jolie van der Berghoeve (v. Jaguar v. Berghoeve). The top five was concluded by Matthias Gering (GER) with Corablue Z (v. Corydon van T&L).
