The home crowd gave Abdelkebir Ouaddar wings in the 4* 1.45m main class of the Morocco Royal Tour, and jumped with the 14-year-old stallion Istanbull V.H. Ooievaarshof (by Casall) to victory. The pair also qualified effortlessly for the Grand Prix on Sunday with this result.
Ouaddar completed the course more than a second faster than the competition in his Belgian bred Istanbull VH Ooievaarshof (by Casall) from the stables of Jan Gheeraert. First pursuer Jérôme Guery could count on Azaria Dinero (by Mylord Carthago*Hn) not to hit a single bar in a fast round, which resulted in a silver meddal. The podium was completed with Catch Me Marathon (by Contagio) ridden by Francisco José Mesquita Musa.
In the top five we noted a fourth place for Simon Delestre. The French top rider entered the arena on Tinka's Hero Z (by Tinka's Boy). The duo left Luciana Diniz behind them in the saddle of Vertigo du Desert (by Mylord Carthago*Hn).
