Alsharbatly speeds to victory in difficult CSI3* Grand Prix of Riyadh

A busy international weekend just concluded in Riyadh with the CSI3* Grand Prix. This leaden Grand Prix was jumped over a height of 1m55 and in two rounds. The victory went to Kannis van de Bucxtale (by Contact van de Heffinck). This 13-year-old BWP gelding, who in the past competed with Jérôme Guery, Pieter Devos and Dominique Hendrickx, among others, jumped a clear second round under the saddle of Abdullah Alsharbatly. The duo clocked off in 47.11 seconds.

Second place went to Janakabhorn Karunayadhaj and Maxwin Kinmar Agalux (by Aganix du Seigneur). They left the wood untouched and clocked off in 49.17 seconds. Amre Hamcho and Vagabon des Forets (by Corofino 2) completed the top three after a clear second round in 55.40 seconds.

Ahmad Saber Hamcho took both fourth and fifth place. For fourth place he counted on Frenchy Vds (by Cornet Obolensky), who has competed for Belgium in the past under the saddle of Vicky van de Poel and Niels Bruynseels. Vintadge de la Roque (by Kannan) jumped to fifth place.
