CHIO Aachen will not take place before September

CHIO Aachen, the biggest show of Germany, can not take place in July or August. The competition already indicated that it would like to postpone its edition of 2020 to the end of this year. The Hamburger Derby announced it wants to do the same as well.

The German government however, announced that big events can not take place until the 31th of August. This means both competitions can only take place starting from September. The measures in Germany are being tapered off in order to start daily life again. It's not clear yet what this means for smaller competitions nor for the equestrian sport of Germany.
