Emanuele Gaudiano takes winning start in Moerzeke

The 1.40m CSI4* opening class in Moerzeke delivered top level sport. In the price Dunas Barbate it was Italy's Emanuele Gaudiano who - in the end - jumped to victory. Aboard his 9-year-old KWPN-gelding,  Julius D (Arezzo VDL) Gaudiano was the second but last to start.

For a long time, the sympathetic Roger-Yves Bost was in the lead. In the end Gaudiano set a time of just not three seconds faster with his son by Arezzo VDL. The Italian rider referred 'Bosty' to the runner-up position with  Ever de Turan (Kannan).

Dutch showjumper, Kevin Jochems completed the stage in this 4* opening. Together with Looks Good de Liebri Z (Lector van den Bisschop), Jochems jumped to the third spot.

The pair was followed by Alexa Ferrer and Casanova Zsz (Cesano 2) in fourth and Pedro Grandi Backheuser aboard Hobbit du Houmier (Jenson van 't Meulenhof) in fifth.
