Jos Verlooy wins CSI4* Grand Prix of Salzburg

In Salzburg the Grand Prix of the CSI4* competition was jumped just now and the Belgians very clearly left their mark. Jos Verlooy was the fastest of eleven jump-off contenders. He rode Varoune (by Verdi) to victory in 43.22 seconds.

This left him ahead of Christian Ahlmann who finished in second place with Solid Gold Z (by Stakkato Gold). The German combination was able to keep the zero and finished in 43.59 seconds. Arnaud Doem and Edgard de Prefontaine (by Contact vh Heffinck) completed the top three after a clear round in 50.95 seconds.

Only the top five could keep the zero. Karel Cox rode in the saddle of Evert (by Amadeus) the fastest time. Unfortunately the KWPN gelding tapped out one pole. Bryan Balsiger (Twentytwo des Biches) completed the top five.
