At the Mediterranean Equestrian Tour in Oliva, the week came to a close with a 1.50m Grand Prix that also counted for the Longines Ranking. Julien Epaillard managed to once again, secure a French victory in this Grand Prix. After winning the 1.50m GP in Oliva last week, he raced to the win again today.
Julien Epaillard raced to victory with Caracole de La Roque (by Zandor Z) and set the fastest time of 34.43 seconds. With this, he was just too fast for the Dutch rider Marc Houtzager and Sterrehof's Dante N.O.P. (by Canturano). Houtzager rode in 34.57 seconds to second place. Lars N Pedersen could count on Boegegaarden Gladiola (by Boegegaardens Grafs Stakkato) to complete the top three with a time of 35.60 seconds.
Philippe Rozier (Le Coulture de Muze) could count on a fourth place. Anna Power (Mcqueen) took care of the female defence and finished fifth.
