Francisco José Mesquita Musa and Denis Lynch take winning start in Doha

As an opening of the CSI5* LGCT Season the five-star combinations were offered two 1.45m classes. In it Ireland Denis Lynch aboard Cornets Iberio (Cornet Obolensky) and Francisco José Mesquita Musa with Carte de Blue PS Marathon jumped to victory. Only the class of Musa counted for Ranking points.

There was no holding back Francisco José Mesquita Musa and the 11-year-old son of Cartoon, Carte de Blue PS Marathon. Thanks to Jumpr APP we know, Carte de Blue PS already won over 17.000 euro in earnings this year with 3 times finishing on stage.

The pair was over two seconds faster as Italy's speedy rider, Emanuele Gaudiano and Crack Balou (Balou du Reventon). Great-Britain's Lily Attwood completed the stage aboard her 13-year-old, Karibou Horta (Landor S).

The pair was followed by Marlon Modolo Zanotelli (BRA) and Like A Diamond van het Schaeck (Diamant de Semilly). The top five was completed by Alexa Ferrer (FRA) aboard Vitalhorse Ebbadya Hero (Erco van 't Roosakker).

Denis Lynch takes the first win


Denis Lynch and the 11-year-old Cornets Iberio (Cornet Obolensky) jumped to victory in the 1.45m class with exactly two seconds advantage on Sweden's Henrik von Eckermann and Calizi (Cellestial). The stage of this class was completed by Edwina Tops-Alexander aboard her 11-year-old Toulini Olympic (Toulouse).
