In the atmospheric Nekkerhal at Jumping Mechelen, 21-year-old Dutch top rider Kristy Snepvangers is enjoying a strong weekend. After a nervous start on Friday, where she finished 29th in the youth class, she bounced back convincingly on Saturday with a top result in the 1.35m class. Riding her self-produced horses Millstream’s Kaletto and Millstream’s Inspiration, she is looking ahead with confidence to tomorrow’s Grand Prix. In an exclusive interview, she shares her experiences, from mental strength to the magic of Mechelen and her Belgian fans.
