Emanuele Gaudiano triumphs in Hubside

On the opening day of a new competition week at the HUBSIDE JUMPING Grimaud-Golfe de Saint-Tropez, the Italian Emanuele Gaudiano was present on all fronts!

This morning Gaudiano crowned himself the winner of the big CSI 2* event (1.40m) with Chaccart PS (Chacco-Blue), a horse that he has only had under saddle for a few weeks. The rider also took second place, behind Israeli Robin Muhr with Baccarat Meniljean (Diamant de Semilly), in the first CSI 5* event (1.45m LR - GP Qualifier).

As icing on the cake, the Italian also won the second 5* class on the back of Crack Balou (Balou du Reventon). Gaudiano jumped the 1.50m high course a good half a second faster than Simon Delestre with Dexter Fongenis Z (Diarado), who led the preliminary classification for much of the event. Luxembourger Victor Bettendorf completed the top three in the saddle of Astuce de La Roque (Kannan).
