The French were supreme this afternoon in the 4* 1.55m Grand Prix of Hubside Jumping. An all-French top three was led by Julien Epaillard in the saddle of Donatello d'Auge (Jarnac).
The Grand Prix in Saint Tropez was thus completely dominated by the French. The gold went to Julien Epaillard in the saddle of Donatello d'Auge who was the only one to stay under 40 seconds. Nicolas Delmotte did slightly less well with a time of 40.01 seconds, and jumped on the back of Citadin du Chatellier (l'Arc de Triomphe) to a silver medal. Philippe Rozier closed the podium together with the gray stallion Le Coultre de Muze (Presley Boy).
The Belgian Rik Hemeryck jumped to fourth place with Navarro van het Eelshof (Jappelloup V/H Dauwhof) as the only outsider among the otherwise all-French top five. The fifth place went to France, with Harold Boisset and T'Obetty du Domaine (Kashmir Van Schuttershof).
