Michael Jung continues to impress in Stuttgart

Michael Jung has clearly come to Stuttgart in top form. After a win in the indoor derby yesterday, and a classification in the jumping opening class today, the second 1.45m class on the program now again yielded a gold medal for the German!

Today as well, Michael Jung raced to a fantastic gold medal with loud encouragement from the German public. Together with the 14-year-old Westfaler mare Fischerchelsea (Check In 2), he set a strong clear round in 25.65 seconds, which sent the Swiss Bryan Balsiger with Urbanus Z (Ugano Sitte) to second place. Also Marc Dilasser managed to finish the second phase in under 26 seconds, and took aboard E2k Abricot Ennemmelle (Quaprice Bois Margot) the third place on the podium.

More German joy followed right next to that podium. Sophie Hinners placed fourth in the saddle of FBW Graphik (Graf Rhapsody), ahead of Philipp Schulze Topphoff and the 9-year-old Comme Il Faut 5 daughter, Carla.
