Batillat wins Grand Prix of Valencia

In Valencia the highlight of an international weekend was jumped just now: the Grand Prix of the CSI2* competition. They jumped over a height of 1m45, eight combinations could qualify for the jump-off. In the end it was Guillaume Batillat who drew the longest straw. He rode a clear round in the saddle of Baby Love (by Lupicor) and finished in 40.91 seconds. 

Alexa Stais and Kurly vd Gorten (by Thunder van de Zuuthoeve) were good for second place. They could leave all the fences untouched and finished in 42.49 seconds. Bart Jay Junior Vandecasteele rode to third place. He left all the fences in the saddle of Entreprise Jt Z (by Eldorado vd Zeshoek) and finished in 43.58 seconds. Only the top three managed to stay clear in the jump-off. 

The fastest time came from Robin Muhr. Unfortunately he and Stawita PS (by Stakkatol) had one fault which resulted in a fourth place. Yunjing Ella Wang (Quidamia D) completed the top five.
