Philipp Schulze Topphoff and Carla NRW shine bright in 1.55m main class in Hohen Wieschendorf

At the DKB Pferdewochte in Hohen Wieschendorf the highest built fences were 1.55m high. With twelve combinations at the start of the second round, Germany's Philipp Schulze Topphoff secured a home win aboard Carla NRW .

Topphoff and the 11-year-old mare by Comme Il Faut stayed more than a second ahead of David Will with Kansall (Kannan) in the 1.55m main event. Will and the 10-year-old son of Kannan were followed by Marc Houtzager with Sterrehof's Dante (Canturano).

Houtzager and the 16-year-old KWPN horse were just over a second faster than fellow countryman Kevin Jochems. Jochems finished just outside the top three riding the 10-year-old Camilla van de Helle (Crumble).

In front of his home crowd, Marcus Ehning completed the top five with the 11-year-old Coolio 42 (Casalito).
