Willem Greve and Grandorado TN unbeatable in 1.55m main class at Piazza di Siena!

Fourteen combinations qualified for the jump-off of the 1.55m main event in the Italian capital, Rome. In the Trofeo Loro Piana, Willem Greve, one of the last to start, ultimately jumped to victory. Greve won the €27,500 first prize with his KWPN stallion, Grandorado TN N.O.P.

Greve and Team Nijhof's 13-year-old son of Eldorado vd Zeshoek finished just under a second ahead of Mario Stevens and Albert Sprehe's 11-year-old Starissa Frh (Stakkato Gold). In front of his home crowd, Giacomo Bassi completed the top three riding the 11-year-old Cape Cod (Tornesch).

The duo was followed by Ali Hamad Al Kirbi, who, with Jarlin de Torres (Jarnac), stayed more than two seconds ahead of Edwina Tops-Alexander and Corelli de Mies (Calvaro F.C.).

On Friday, Kevin Staut won the 1.55m main event with Beau de Laubry (Bisquet Balou C vd Mispelaere). This time, the duo finished in sixth place as the fastest four-fault round.
