The weekend is slowly coming to an end and that of course also means that the last Grand Prix of the weekend are being held. Just now the day ended in Ascona, Switzerland, with the Grand Prix of the CSI4* competition. Ten combinations could qualify for the jump-off.
In the jump off it went hard against hard. One fast time followed another but in the end it was Leon Thijssen who could call himself the winner. He rode Faithless Mvdl (by Ukato) clear in 41.63 seconds. Barbara Schnieper rode Escoffier (by Lord Z) to second place. The Swiss duo left the wood untouched and finished in 41.70 seconds. Gilles Thomas shined in second place. He rode the 11-year-old BWP gelding Konak (by Nabab de Reve) clear in 42.06 seconds.
Oliver Lazarus (Butterfly Ennemmel) and Tim Wilks (Guestlist) completed the top five. For Wilm Vermeir and Joyride S (by Toulon) there was a tenth place.
