Michael Jung proves to be not only excellent at being an eventing rider but now dominates the Jumping world, too. With Fischerchelsea (v. Check In 2) the Olympic, World and European Champion jumped to victory in the third Qualifier for the Grand Prix at the Sentower Park, Belgium.
Frederic Vernaet provided the best home result, riding Born To Win AP Z (by Bentley) to third place. For a moment the pair was in second position but Julien Anquetin got in between them. Riding the BWP-bred Gravity of Greenhill (by Nabab de Reve), the Frenchman finished a sigh away from victory. The time to beat was set early on by Michael Jung. The German rode Fischerchelsea (v. Check In 2) in an amazingly fast round clear over the finish line in 60.11. No one was able to beat the two and they took home the win.
On four we saw Barbara Schnieper in the saddle of Escoffier (v. Lord Z) while the top five was concluded by another Belgian combination, Pieter Kenis and Ohaj de Regor (v. Kannan).
