In Oliva, the two last classes of this competition day were just finished. The Gold riders concluded their day with the 1m45 Longines Ranking Grand Prix qualifier.
Seventeen combinations stayed double clear, but in the end it was Gregory Wathelet who could lead the lap of honour. His Argentina de La Marchette was with a time of 26.63 seconds in the second phase more than a second too fast for Roger Yves Bost and Bluemuch des Baleines, who finished second. The bronze was again for Belgium thanks to Karel Cox and Curiano Van Maarle Z.
Places four and five were respectively for Johnny Pals with Carlotta and Tony Hanquinquant with Caligano Jorthonne.
