Shane Breen takes home the gold in CSI5* Grand Prix of Abu Dhabi

In Abu Dhabi the CSIO5* President of the UAE Showjumping Cup Grand Prix just took place. After a long wait for some clear rounds, nine combinations managed to keep the rails up and move on to the jump-off. 

Winner of the GP today was Irish rider Shane Breen with Z7 Ipswich (by Carembar De Muze) who crossed the finish line in 36,68 seconds. Abdullah Alsharbatly and Hunter C (by H&M Cabrio van de Heffinck) followed in second place and recorded a time of 37,12 seconds. Khaled Abdulrahman Almobty and his 11-year old KWPN gelding Grunnerger Kwiebus (by Ustinov) took home third place in a time of 38,24 seconds in the jump-off. 

Henrik von Eckermann and Glamour Girl (by VDl Zirocco Blue) who finished fourth, recorded the fastest time of 34,45 seconds but saw a very unfortunate rail fall down on the last fence. Oliver Lazarus and Butterfly Ennemmel (by Quaprice Bois Margot).
